At Maison Avel, we partner with trusted fulfillment providers to deliver your order securely and efficiently, wherever you are in the world. This Shipping Policy explains our processing times, shipping methods, delivery estimates, and responsibilities.

Order Processing
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday).  
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays begin processing the next business day.  
You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped.

- Most other international destinations

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight.

Free Shipping
Free shipping is available on orders over €35 (or local currency equivalent) for eligible destinations.

Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking link by email.  
Tracking information may take 24–48 hours to update.

Customs, Duties & Taxes
Depending on your destination, customs duties or import taxes may apply.

EU Orders
EU customers typically do not pay customs or import fees.

Non-EU Orders (e.g., US, UK, Canada, Australia)
Your local customs office may apply import fees.  
These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Maison Avel cannot control or predict customs delays.

Address Accuracy
Please ensure your address is complete and correct.  
Maison Avel is not responsible for:
- Incorrect or incomplete addresses
- Refused deliveries
- Unclaimed packages
- Additional re-delivery fees.

If a package is returned due to address issues, reshipping fees may apply.

Delayed, Lost, or Stolen Packages
While uncommon, delays may occur due to customs, weather, or carrier issues.

If your package is delayed or appears lost:
1. Check the tracking information
2. Contact the carrier
3. Email us at support@maisonavel.com if the issue persists

A package is considered lost if undelivered after 30 days from shipment (or 45 days for certain international destinations).  
We will work with you to resolve the issue.

Maison Avel is not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier.

Damaged Goods
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with:
- Order number
- Photos of the item
- Photos of packaging
- Description of the issue

We will send a replacement or refund according to our Refund Policy.

Cancellations
Orders cannot be cancelled after processing or shipping.  
If your order has not yet been processed, contact us immediately and we will do our best to assist.
